Fire Sergeant in the Provincial Fire Department of Malaga and rescue trainer. Founding member of ARTE (Association of Traffic and Emergency Rescue) and creator of the SAVYT Method. Since 2015, he has been a member of the National Association of Appraisers, Experts and Mediators.
For more than two decades he has been dedicated to the study, research, development and analysis of everything related to rescue in road accidents worldwide. ARTE works continuously with the Road Safety Prosecutor’s Office for the establishment of a coordination protocol between first responders in road crashes.
Among others, he has university degrees such as Master in Management and Direction of Road Safety by the European University of Madrid, UNITAR-ONU and RACE; Expert in Criminology and Traffic Psychology by the UNED; and Postgraduate in Prevention, Fire Extinction and Rescue Services and Postgraduate of University Professional Specialization in Reconstruction of Traffic Accidents, both by the University of Valencia. In addition, he has official international training in severe trauma care for first responders (PHTLS). He has also given lectures at national and international conferences, and has published manuals and articles in various specialized journals in the emergency sector. He also holds the Extraordinary Medal for Good Practices in Road Safety by ATESVAN, Smart Baby Foundation and DGT 2019, and has been decorated with the Silver Cross of the Order Gran Cruz Azul de Emergencias 2022.
He has carried out many training actions for public, private, military and academic administrations at national and international level, in countries such as USA, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador or Paraguay. He has carried out several projects focused on child road safety and rescue in South America under the auspices of the UN.
